Barbara is a Principal and Founding Member of RCL. She was previously a partner with Ernst & Young, serving as their National Investment Advisory Services Solution leader until working at WTAS from April 2005 through March 2007. Barbara has been providing investment counseling as well as financial planning advice to high net worth individuals since she graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in 1978. Barbara is a Certified Public Accountant and a CFA Charterholder.

Barbara’s educational background coupled with more than 25 years of experience serving the needs of high net worth individuals makes her relatively unique in her ability to assess the objectives of individuals, utilize cutting-edge information to design solutions to meet those objectives, and maximize her clients’ wealth through the use of top money managers and tax-effective financial strategies. Barbara has been recognized for her outstanding client service skills, knowledge and innovation. For example, Worth Magazine honored her consistently since 1996 as one of our nation’s top financial advisors.

Barbara has supported the creation of financial planning solutions for Americans through her participation in professional initiatives including the Private Client Task Force of the Association of Investment Management and Research, the Personal Financial Planning division of the American Institute of CPAs, and the Advisory Board for Commerce Clearing House’s Financial and Estate Planning Division, as well as her weekly personal financial planning column in the Sunday Dallas Times Herald from 1989 through 1991 and the Milwaukee Journal from 1985 until her relocation to Dallas in 1988. She continues to be quoted in newspapers and magazines, and appears frequently on nationally televised news programs and at professional conferences.
